Government officials from nine Asia-Pacific region countries attended a food and agriculture policy capacity strengthening workshop held in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The workshop was organized by the Pro-Poor Policy programme and provided theoretical and practical grounding in policy concepts and tools. His Excellency Kith Seng, Under Secretary of State of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) and the FAO representative in Cambodia, Ajay Markanday, opened the workshop on 30 August 2010.
